I started writing a blog in hopes to share it with other people who are also looking for the real deal; The real struggles, blessings, and realities of the Christian life in the world we live in today. I was tired of the fussy fluff. My blog turned into not just sharing the things I love and enjoy, it sparked a dream of starting a ministry and writing about my passion for Jesus. Life isn’t a perfect Instagram or cute Hobby Lobby sign, and let’s face it, fake is exhausting, and be honest: no one has time for that. I'm hoping to share Jesus, and actual, real life through all the mistakes, highs, lows, and in-betweens.
I'm a blogger, fashion lover, founder and director of The Real Truth Ministries. I love Jesus, my husband, my family, my dog, Bloomingdale's, fake eyelashes, and I am an avid pizza eater. My husband is a really handsome photographer, engineer, and drone videographer who's super cool and loves Jesus. I'm terrified of chickens and riding tandem bikes. My favorite book of the Bible is John, I am passionate about the Middle East, and my favorite movie is Miss Congeniality 2, Crazy Rich Asians, Or You Again, it’s too hard to choose.
I love Jesus with all of my heart, and I truly believe that Jesus is the only hope for the world. I'm passionate about sexual abuse advocacy, the global Church, and refugee ministry. I’m a woman with a dream to empower the voiceless, advocate for the broken, and love the marginalized. I founded The Real Truth Ministries which is ministry that provides Biblical sexual assault care training [for pastors, leadership, schools, colleges, ministry organizations, ect.] My dream is to continue to grow my ministry and to bring it to the Church all over to help heal those recovering from sexual violence in a Godly, Biblical, healthy way. I strongly believe in unity in diversity and have seen first hand how the Church is better when we come together for global collaboration. I believe God created us to be in relationship together, across the nations, and we need each other's perspectives, differences, and shared love for God and serving His people.
